On April 2nd, Kaitlin Broussard signed the dotted line to play softball at Alvin Community College next year. She will continue her softball career at Alvin under Coach Jennifer Hightower as an outfielder and slapper. The Alvin coach was impressed by her speed and being a solid slapper at the plate.  Kaitlin played varsity softball for Anahuac for four years and was 1st Team All District Outfield in 2008.  This season she is batting .375 with a .420 on base percentage. She has 24 hits, 14 RBI’s and has scored 21 runs. She has 36 stolen bases. Kaitlin has worked hard for the last four years in high school ball and has played summer ball to reach this goal of playing college softball. We are so proud for Kaitlin to be the third Anahuac player in three years to go on to play Division I Junior College Softball. Her parents are Jenny and Kevin Broussard.
