Safe Schools Helpline
Often students or parents want to report a safety concern relating to our schools but fear retribution or being called a “snitch”. Anahuac ISD contracts with Security Voice Inc. to provide a safe school helpline. The Helpline allows students, parents, staff and community members to report wrongdoing and illegal activities in schools without identifying themselves. Some examples, which could hurt our students or our staff, include violence, theft, drug or alcohol abuse, sexual harassment, and weapons.
The toll-free number list below has been assigned for our school district and is available 24/7. When you dial this number to report a concern you will be instructed how to leave your information. The information is anonymous and you will be reminded NOT to include your name or other information that might identify you. After the instructions you may record your information. Security Voice will transcribe your message and send it to the district superintendent, Dr. Linda Kay Barnhart, who will then investigate the report and take appropriate action. You may also make an anonymous report using the website listed below.
